Personhood is something inherent to every human being.  It means that because we are a "person", we have certain rights in society.  The problem is, some people are not given this inherent dignity in law.  These people are the unborn.  People with pro-abortion views, or even those who sit on the fence, find it convenient to deny that the pre-born child is infact a "person" and therefore deserving of protection.  However, science tells us that life begins at conception.  It does not begin at implantation or any other milestone along the road.  The new life only needs to grow and develop. The new life is a human being from conception, a human being who deserves the dignity of personhood and the right to life which every human being enjoys.
